Isaac Mulè // artistic director

Isaac took over as Artistic Director of Page 1 Productions in 2015 with the vision of creating a space where artists from various backgrounds could work together to create meaningful, uplifting, yet challenging stories. Isaac is inspired every year by the wide range of artists who choose to join OutFest and share their stories.

Daniel Wittnebel // director of media & marketing

Daniel is a photographer and graphic designer. He studied photography at Vancouver Institute of Media Arts and fell in love with capturing Canadian landscapes. His passion for visual communication and media arts led him to Page 1 where he's happy to be returning for a second season and to work behind the scenes to make OutFest successful.

Leanne Rich // production manager

Leanne Rich is a freelance production manager, technical director & stage manager and is thrilled to be a part of OutFest 2017. After 3 years working abroad with Princess Cruises, she is happy to be back working in Ontario. Having worked in a variety of positions in the theatrical industry Leanne brings passion and enthusiasm to OutFest and to giving a voice to the LGBTQ+ community.

Chelsea Vanoverbeke // Lighting Designer

Chelsea is a recent graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Theatre and Performance and History programs. Previous performances she has worked on include Eurydice (2016) as associate lighting designer, Out of the Box (2016) as the scenographer and head of lighting, and Unity (1918) (2015) as the head of lighting. Chelsea is looking forward to working with Outfest for the first time and to help bring the voices of Outfest to life.

JAMIE MACKENZIE // FESTIVAL STAGE MANAGER

Jamie got her first taste of technical theatre in high school and quickly became involved in community theatre. After completing her advanced diploma in Entertainment Technology, she jumped on board, literally, with Carnival Cruise Lines as a lighting/special effects technician and Disney Cruise Lines. Following her adventures on the seas, Jamie worked with the Arts Club Theatre Company in Vancouver as the head electrician. Jamie has worked on over one-hundred shows and festivals in all technical positions and although she is currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, theatre will always be where her heart is. She is excited to be working with Page 1 Productions and glad to be back in the theatre.

MATT LISK // HEAD OF SOUND & VIDEOGRAPHER

Matthew is a student at Eastwood Collegiate Institute. He is part of the Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood and is focusing on production technology. Previous works include Eastwood May Dance Show, Eastwood Spring Music Night, and Eastwood Miracle on Weber Street. This is his first season teching for Outfest.

Jeff Fox // Associate Choreographer

Jeff is a local dance instructor, choreographer, performer, and speaker. He is honoured to be a part of this year's crop of incredibly talented creators and performers.  Art is all about giving voice to our inner most selves, and OutFest is a safe and welcoming space for all voices and selves.

Martin Glassford // Dramaturge

Martin is a local dramaturge, director, and actor. With a special interest and focus on new creation work and how to translate the new physical script to the stage he has had the pleasure to be a participant  in creating some unique and memorable performances all across the country .  Some of his favourite past productions include Masks, Madness, and the Bard (Strafford Festival), Under Derek's Bed(TACTICS Festival Ottawa, ON), Happiness Inc. (Maycan Theatre, Ottawa, ON), A Report to the Academy (Infini Theatre, Montreal, ON).

Scarlet Fountain // Artistic Associate

Scarlet is an enthusiastic emerging playwright, director, and all-around theatre geek who’s very excited to be involved in this year’s one-acts. Scarlet recently graduated from a triple major in drama, visual arts and instrumental music in Eastwood Collegiate’s Integrated Arts Program, where she has written and directed four plays for the annual Eastwood Fringe Festival and other productions. She has taken one of these plays, Justice, to the 2015 Night/Shift place-hacking festival, and to Page 1 Productions' OutFest 2016, along with her work as part of Construction Paper's Fire Escapes. Her writing has also been showcased in JM Drama's ACTOne Festival. Outside of the theatre, Scarlet is a visual artist, with work displayed in shows at the Idea Exchange, the Button Factory, Homer Watson House and Gallery, and THEMUSEUM.
